The purpose of student welfare is to monitor and safeguard the welfare and income of students at Kajaani University of Applied Sciences.
KAMO’s social welfare activities cover student income during studies, accommodation, welfare, health and employment. Other important issues include student grants, student healthcare, and ensuring a safe study environment.
The aim of KAMO’s activities is to improve student healthcare and equality and to engage in discussion on study policy related issues. The main task of student welfare is to ensure and promote student welfare by various means. The welfare sector has the overall responsibility for the aforementioned issues, monitors them and keeps other stakeholders informed while dealing with any problems that may arise, if needed.
The member of the board in charge of student welfare is responsible for the above activities. The activities are implemented in cooperation with those in charge of welfare tutoring and KAMO Activities.
