“Anyone eligible to vote shall be eligible to be a member of the Student Council”. This means that you can stand for election if you have a valid Student Card.
You can be nominated by filling in and filing a separate Candidate Form. Candidates may stand unbound or choose to form an Electoral Alliance along with other candidates. For the establishment of an Electoral Alliance, the constituent document of the Electoral Alliance must be completed. An Electoral Alliance is a group composed of one or more candidates whose votes received are counted in favour of the candidates. A representative must be appointed to the electoral union who may also run as a candidate. A candidate cannot be nominated in more than one (1) Electoral Alliance.
The Candidate Form and the document for establishing the electoral alliance shall be filed with KAMO's office before the expiration of the parole period.

The time to stand for election to the Student Representative body of the Student Union of the Kajaani University of Applied Sciences is indicated in the election notice of the Student Council.
