Kaffé Tauko is the official service point of KAMO and serves all the users of the campus of Kajaani. Whether you are a student, staff member or just stopping by, we welcome you for a cup of coffee!
At Kaffé Tauko you can get the traditional café items and the member services offered by the Student Union KAMO. By using the services of Kaffé Tauko you support KAMO’s activities and improve students’ wellbeing at KAMK!
Kaffé Tauko serves you in these matters
- café items (the cheapest coffee on campus!)
- membership affairs, Student Cards and semester stickers

- study equipment, copying / printing service and colour copies
- thesis binding
Payment methods
In addition to cash, you can pay with card (VISA, VISA Electron, MasterCard, Maestro, V Pay, JCB, American Express, Diners Club, Discover, UnionPay) and mobile payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay).
Please note that we don’t accept card or mobile payments under 1.00€. Take an advantage of the Coffee Card, which you can buy from Kaffé Tauko. With the Coffee Card you can also have tea.

Spring semester 2024
- On Tuesday the 7th of January 2025: Kaffé Tauko will open at 8.00am. Kaffé Tauko will be open during spring semester from 8.00am to 2.30pm.
- Week 10 (Independent Study Week): Kaffé Tauko and KAMO office and member services closed.
- Easter: Good Friday on 18th of April 2025 and 2nd Easter day on 21st of April: Kaffé Tauko is closed.
- Vappu / May Day: On 1st of May 2025: Kaffé Tauko is closed.
- Ascension Day on the 29th of May: Kaffé Tauko is closed
- On Friday the 30th of May: Kaffé Tauko is closed
