Kaffé Tauko is the official service point of KAMO and serves all the users of the campus of Kajaani. Whether you are a student, staff member or just stopping by, we welcome you for a cup of coffee!
At Kaffé Tauko you can get the traditional café items and the member services offered by the Student Union KAMO. By using the services of Kaffé Tauko you support KAMO’s activities and improve students’ wellbeing at KAMK!

Payment methods
In addition to cash, you can pay with card (VISA, VISA Electron, MasterCard, Maestro, V Pay, JCB, American Express, Diners Club, Discover, UnionPay) and mobile payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay).
Please note that we don’t accept card or mobile payments under 1.00€. Take an advantage of the Coffee Card, which you can buy from Kaffé Tauko. With the Coffee Card you can also have tea.

Autumn semester 2026
- Kaffé Tauko returns from the Summer holiday and opens on Monday the 10th of August 2026 at 8.00am.
- During the Orientation Days from the 18th to the 21st of August Kaffé Tauko is open from 8.00am to 3.00pm. From Monday the 24th of August Kaffé Tauko returns to normal opening hours (from 8.00am to 2.30pm).
- Closed during week 42 from the 12th to the 16th of October for Independent Study Week.
- Closes at 2.30pm on Friday the 18th of December 2026, for christmas vacation.
- Kaffé Tauko will reopen on Thursday the 7th of January 2027.
