Communications

The person responsible for marketing communications is tasked with developing effective marketing strategies for the student union and the services it offers, as well as managing the organization’s internal and external communications in line with its image. They are responsible for planning, coordinating, and developing the student union’s overall marketing strategy, as well as managing and developing the organization’s image. Their duties include ensuring that the student union’s website is up-to-date and functional, as well as managing marketing materials.

In addition, the board member responsible of marketing and communications is responsible for internal and external communications and marketing, including the drafting and publication of press releases, statements, and announcements. They coordinate stakeholder collaboration with various communication and information providers and are responsible for the student union’s marketing communications on social media. The role also includes designing and producing membership recruitment materials and activity brochures, coordinating event and campaign marketing, and ordering promotional materials from partners in collaboration with the Executive Director. Additionally, they provide information and guidance to students.

 All material has to be delivered via email to kamo@kamk.fi. All material to the upcoming newsletter has to be delivered one week in advance, by Thursday at 12.00pm (excluding vacation times).
