Discussion Days

Now that we have finally returned to contact teaching, it’s time to look at what work on campus. Do you think the opening hours of cafes are appropriate? Should the canteen have trays after all? Are you happy with KAMO’s activities?

What are the Discussion Days?

The Discussion Days are part of the Student Union KAMO’s advocacy system and a free-form feedback channel for students to let their voices to be heard. Now you have the opportunity to share your own ideas and development ideas regarding areas such as campus facilities, student benefits, campus cafes and restaurants and studying.

How do I join the Discussion Days?

At Kaffé Tauko, in Tieto 1 building, there are iPads you can use to answer the questionnaire. Please stop by during the break times: from 9.30am to 10.00am, 11.30am to 12.30pm, and 1.45pm to 2.15pm. As a reward for participation, you will receive a coffee or tea ticket for Kaffé Tauko. The ticket is only valid for the current day.

If you are not on campus for Discussion Days, please answer the questionnaire online.

During the Discussion Days, there are also coloured paper notes at Kaffé Tauko which you can use to give feedback:

  • Green notes: things that are working.
  • Yellow notes: things that require improvements.
  • Red notes: things that should get erased.

Through the responses, the Student Union KAMO wants to make being on campus and studying more pleasant. All responses are anonymous.
