Memberships for the new academic year 2026 – 2027 went on sale on the 17th of July 2026. You can renew your membership through our online store, Kide.app.
Note! The 2025 – 2026 membership has been valid until September 2026 (9/2026), and the spring 2026 membership expires on the 30th of September 2026 (9/2026).
We’ve updated our membership fee model, and now you can purchase a membership for a single semester, an academic year, or for the entire duration of your remaining studies. The longer the membership you purchase, the more you save, as each purchase includes a service fee, so fewer purchases mean more savings.
We have taken your existing membership into account, and with the renewal of the membership fee model, we are offering a discounted membership price for the transition period, during which, as a continuing member, you can purchase an autumn semester membership for 19,00 euros or an academic year membership for 27,00 euros. These memberships are available for purchase only until the beginning of December 2026.
Just remember to pick up a new sticker for your physical student ID card as your membership continues! If you only have a digital student ID card, your membership will be automatically renewed once you pay the membership fee.
Instructions
1. Check that you are eligible for a student card from here.
2. Sign up as an attending student for the current semester or year in PAKKI.
3. Log in to Kide.app. You can create a new password or sign in with your Facebook account.
4. Select the suitable term and payment method.
5. After you’ve payed your card and membership, your valid membership will be visible in the Wallet at the section “student card”. Note that this is not your mobile student card and is not valid as such. With this you can collect the membership sticker from Kaffé Tauko.
6. You can collect your new membership sticker from KAMO’s service point, Kaffé Tauko, right after renewing.
When picking up your sticker, please make sure to bring your student card with you. Unattached stickers will not be handed out under any circumstances. Only an appointed person from KAMO can attach the sticker to your student card.
Membership periods:
It’s a good idea to purchase a membership for the entire period you’ll be studying at KAMK.
You can renew your membership at any point during the current semester, but the price for that semester remains the same regardless of when you renew. Please note that membership for the 2025 – 2026 academic year expires on the 30th of September 2026.
A multi-year membership is more affordable than purchasing a membership one semester at a time. The savings have been calculated by comparing the total price to what you would pay if you purchased a membership one semester at a time.

3. Select the suitable term and payment method.
4. Send your student card to the address: KAMO, PO Box 52, 87101 KAJAANI
5. Enclose a stamped addressed envelope.
6. We will send your card back to you when we see the membership fee has been paid.
