Kaffé Tauko is the official service point of KAMO and serves all the users of the campus of Kajaani. Whether you are a student, staff member or just stopping by, we welcome you for a cup of coffee!
At Kaffé Tauko you can get the traditional café items and the member services offered by the Student Union KAMO. By using the services of Kaffé Tauko you support KAMO’s activities and improve students’ wellbeing at KAMK!
Kaffé Tauko serves you in these matters

Payment methods
In addition to cash, you can pay with card (VISA, VISA Electron, MasterCard, Maestro, V Pay, JCB, American Express, Diners Club, Discover, UnionPay) and mobile payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay).
Please note that we don’t accept card or mobile payments under 1.00€. Take an advantage of the Coffee Card, which you can buy from Kaffé Tauko. With the Coffee Card you can also have tea.

Spring semester 2026
- Kaffé Tauko returns from the Christmas holiday and opens on Wednesday the 7th of January 2026 at 8.00am.
- Closed during week 10 from the 2nd to the 6th of March for Independent Study Week.
- Closed during Easter on Friday the 3rd of April 2026 (Good Friday) and Monday the 6th of April 2026 (Easter Monday).
- Closed on Friday the 1st of May 2026.
- Closed on Ascension Day on Thursday the 14th of May 2026, and on Friday the 15th of May 2026.
- Closes at 2.30pm on Friday the 29th of May 2026, for summer vacation.
- Kaffé Tauko will reopen in August.
